The annual dose of Russell Bierke’s unapologetically insane antics are upon us.

Get ready for the premiere of Inner Mechanics, featuring some of the gnarliest, mind-melting surf you’ll see this year or maybe any year, set to a unique score by The M1.

The short film by Andrew Kaineder touches on the mindset of big wave surfer Russ Bierke while showcasing his gnarliest rides of the year. Known for his calm demeanor while charging some of the heaviest waves in the world, we explore what it takes to take off and ride waves at the edge of possibility.
